1995 Audi Cabriolet 2.6
AUDI Cabriolet 2.6 V6 5 speed manual, Blue, half-leather (1995 / N reg), 11 months MOT, 121,000 miles
New rear window recent tyres recent front suspension recent cambelt change new rear pads
Originally purchased jointly with a friend for a glorious summer of top-down driving. 4 years and a few road trips later it's time to move on and be missed and lamented forever more.
Engine is smooth and astonishingly quiet all things considered, gear selection is crisp and rides well. Paint is in good condition although it's had a knock at some point which has crazed the rear bumped very slightly and put the smallest of dents in by the boot lid. Rear light is cracked (probably from the bump), just like every over Cabrio on the road.
Inside there are three small issues, the rear seat has a small hole in one of the folds of fabric, the leading edges of the rear interior panels have some rubbing wear, but thats the worst of the car. Not bad for nearly 25 years old. Original sport gauge cluster is fitted although one isn't reporting correctly. Drivers seat has some mild wear, nothing unexpected from the age.
I had a new rear window installed last year so it's crystal clear and now useful as an actual window instead of a prime example of a cataract. Front shocks were redone just after we bought it (4 years ago) along with cambelt. Comes with spare cambelt because we were so organised and bought one each the day of the job. Serviced myself for the last four years.
The roof moves nicely and seals well, no water ingress and stored under a car cover (not included) for the last two years, prior to this it was garaged. Wheels are in good condition, had 4 new tyres 2 years ago and has done less than 3000 miles since.
This is not a concourse condition car, but it's also not a concourse condition price. It's been driven, enjoyed and fixed when needed, if you want something that'll put a smile on your face while you're rolling through the countryside on a sunny day (even in November) then this'll hit the spot.
I've got one key, the V5C, viewings can be arranged.
